For the love of everything holy

Total Needs Count: 1,895

Total Trade Count: 203,450
Total Foil Count: 3,744

Ok so we are still tracking the three different counts.  One for the collection, one for the extra bulk, and one for the foils (I have no idea why).  Big deal this month is that we broke into 203k!  This is pretty cool considering I have been able to keep adding to the collection without adding too much bulk I do no need.

Debt

https://dogonsiereht-mtg.blogspot.com/2019/04/debt.html

So back in April I decided to start to go back into interest free debt and start picking up some sealed product, starting with Mercadian Masques.  I did a purchase on Amazon.com with one of my interest free credit cards, and I would like to share that I have paid that off last month.

I am currently still paying down my Urza's Destiny Booster box with a different interest free credit card, so I decided to pick up some of the Fat Packs I need for the collection.

These were some nice adds, but I was hoping to pick up the block set.  I am not going to complain though considering these are the first ones with the storage box setup, and where I am starting the collection.  I do not think I will go before these Fat Packs, but who knows with me.

Here is the second of the block, and only need the Future Sight to complete the set.  I am not too worried about that one considering that everyone wants that set.  Now with Tarmogoyf on the down slope, this is going to be a much cheaper pick up.  Also with the rise of the Pioneer format a lot of these Modern boxes are on the cheap as well.

I have yet to see if there is an actual Shards of Alara Fat Pack, but I cannot really find anything online that says there is one.  I still need the Conflux one as well, but I do see listings of that one online.

And these two were real treats!  New Phyrexia is a huge favorite of mine, and I did put some extra funds in booster boxes when this was still in print.  I just never snagged up the Fat Packs.  Morningtide on the other hand was not a set I had the privilege to be around when it was in print, and I was not purchasing new sets, but still playing around the kitchen table.  I was pretty excited to be able to get one of these.

I was able to pick these up at some reasonable prices, and considering the downturn we are currently in, I am considering just getting everything that I am looking for to finish the collection.  I know some might say that is not a good idea, and with some of my very own thoughts of getting out completely, to finish the collection might not make the most sense.

But I expect to try and finish everything out next year, and see what happens next.

CardSphere Trades

I did pick these up at the current value, and right after someone decided to send me these cards the prices dropped.  That is why I had them at the price they were set at, and it seems to be working.  As long as I am setting the value at the prices I think they will end up, I am getting the cards I need for my collection without chasing too much.

This helps me finish up my playset, and the other is a trusty spec I am trying to get.  I still do not know why the price of this is still so low, but I do feel like it has room to run.  Like my spec on the Mox Amber, it is only a matter of time for any Mox to go up in price.

Force of Negation is a card I am trying to finish out along with do a small spec on.  Having two playsets is not a bad thing, and I am considering to pick up more, but I do not want to lower my funds too low on CardSphere due to falling Vintage prices.  I am already seeing more Unlimited cards being sent as long as I have my prices set correctly.

This is the last Player Promo card I needed for the easier ones to get.  I still do need all the tokens and the Wasteland, but I am pretty sure I am going to have to get those at a GP or something like that.

I finally got these for my collection and all is good.  There is nothing special about this card outside of being a good EDH card, and it is looking like it is going to get Banded everywhere, but hey, why not just pick them up.  The prices have been falling for a bit, and with Pioneer it is no wonder someone decided to send these to me at the price I had set.

Here is the last Dominaria card I need for my playsets, and a new Spec I am trying out, Thran Temporal Gateway.  I really see this as an EDH spec, but who knows maybe someone will find a good Pioneer / Modern deck to make with it.

Lodestone Buys

So I am at my FLGS picking up my final Dominaria needs and some Modern Horizon needs, and  then I saw a very sexy Beta card.  I did not need another Llanowar Elves, but I could not pass up such a wonderful card.  Then I saw a Judge promo that I have no need for, but thought I could move it on CardSphere and get that Judge Promo badge.  So right now I am just waiting for the price to catch up to what I paid for the card, and I will try and move it.

I might also try and get more Judge Promo cards since I am pretty much done with the Player Promo cards I am looking for, and need something else to buy.  I doubt it, but who knows.

And to bring my Spec right to the front.  $20 got me these, and I can see these going past $10 each.  Time will only tell, but I do see a lot of value in this card.

Grey Duck Games

So there is my other LGS near the house I like to show up at and pick through their wares, and I also like to support them because I can buy my son presents at their shop.  It is not a normal LGS, but more of a Game / Kite store that holds MTG tournaments.  Anyway, I like to go up there and see what they have.  Since they are not a bigger shop, they normally keep product for longer periods of time, and do not sell out right away.

Can't find these things anywhere, but I was able to grab these at the shop at a pretty decent price.  I really did not want to buy them on Amazon, but I was willing to do so if I could not find them locally.  Either way, BAM!  There they are!  I will not be opening the Collector Booster Pack that comes in these, because they are fucking stupid.

Another good reason to stop up there is because this shop actually picks up product like this to sell.  All around the other shops, no one picks these up to sell because they do not sell.  Luckily the game shop will in order to keep a good name with their distributer, and then I get to buy them locally instead of online.  I will do the same thing, open one and keep the other sealed, but I will not chase the first print cards in this game.

And I broke down and picked up their last one of these.  I know, I said I was not going to buy this at all, and I have no plans to open it.  It was the first of it's kind, so I decided to just bite the bullet and buy one for the collection.  I can only see the price of this product going down in the future, so I might as well get on with it.  Just happy they are not trying to sell the damn things on eBay...

Collection Update

So this blog is really turning into a monthly affair, but really I was waiting for my Avacyn Restored Fat Pack to come in the mail, but it is lost right now and I got tired of waiting.

I am literally sick of all the crap WoTC is releasing.  There is a Secret Lair that is coming out tomorrow, and I will be picking up a single set for the collection, but I am tired.  I am just tired of this hobby of mine.  The plan is to finish the collection ending at War of the Spark.  I will finish up those playsets and just be done with it.  I do not plan to open any Throne f Eldraine or any set after.  I will take 2020 off and only try and pick up sealed product for the collection until I really figure out what is going on.

If I need anything else for playing, I will plan on buying them as singles for the decks I play.  I will just finish up all the sets I have, and I will stop printing labels.  I do plan on reorganizing the collection, just not sure how I am going to do it yet.  I am leaning towards sets, and that will make things easier to grade everything over again.

All in all, it is all in an attempt to sell off the collection.  Piece by piece after I actually finish the collection and take pictures of everything.  I will more than likely sell everything past a single card so I will keep one of every card and one of every sealed product.  That will give me enough time to see if my son is interested in the game.

So for now, I am just going to finish off all the other items I need in the open sets.  That will be Guilds of Ravnica, Ravinca Allegience, War of the Spark, Core 2020, Ultimate Master Box Toppers, and Modern Horizons.  I will also try and finish up my Beta and Unlimited sets, but those are pipe dreams.

More to come, but don't expect another post until the year end review.

Ravnica Allegiance Update

Total Trade Count: 208,503
Total Foil Count: 3,792

Total Cards Needed Count: 917

It has been a while since I have updated the blog, and it is getting harder and harder to keep writing the blog.  The simple updates just seem tedious and I am trying to find some more meat for the blogs.  I guess I just don't want to put out content that says, "Look at me, I shipped out 100 more cards..."

As I think of what else to share on here, I thought I would post what I got with the new set that was released.

So, Ravnica Allegiance just came out, and I am starting my new budget rules.  This means I am only picking up 2 Booster Boxes, 2 Bundles, and the Planeswalker decks.  I am only going to be opening up the Bundle because I like the boxes they come in.  I can also get a spin down life counter, and that basic land pack.

It is pretty amazing that they are switching it up a bit.  They are not putting any basic lands in the packs, and WoTC has replaced them with Gates.  So I was only able to get the basic lands from that land pack.  In that land pack, they also added a single foil of each land, so that was pretty cool.  They have also just release a single art for each land, which is really odd and makes me worry a bit.  I just like to see all the different art for the basic lands, but it also makes me wonder if we will see a spike in basic land if they are making it even more difficult to get.

When the set got released, I ran up to my LGS and picked up my pre-order, and then only opened the Bundle.  I am keeping the other Bundle for the collection, one Booster Box will go into the collection, and the other Booster Box goes into the "Trade Later" pile.  I was really hoping to hear something about the Mythic Edition boxes, and I did not want to open a Booster Boxes up if they were going to release another round of the Mythic Edition ones.

Remember, I am trying to get rid of all my extra cards, and I want to avoid adding more cards that I no longer need to my inventory.  My thought was to pick up the Booster Boxes at the LGS for the collection, and then get the Mythic Edition box to open because of those special foiled out cards that I would be cracking packs for anyway.  Lucky for me, they did another release of this product!

There are a ton of Vlogs on YouTube about what happened the first time Hasbro tried to sell their product on their online toy store, and you can also find a bunch of videos on what happened when they moved it off to the Hasbro eBay store, so you can go out and see all that info for yourself.  I am just happy I could get this product, and was able to get them at MSRP.  There is some signs that the value of this set will be less than that, but we have never really cared about that with the entire collection in mind.

And so for the content of this Blog, I opened 1 Bundle and 1 Mythic Edition Booster Box for my set.  That is a total of 34 packs.  10 from the Bundle, and 24 from the ME box.  All in all it is going to be an add of 624 cards total.

360 cards for the ME Box
150 cards for the Bundle packs
80 cards for the land pack
34 cards for the tokens from all the packs.

I ended up getting 581 cards for the collection, 10 foil cards, and 19 cards in the bulk pile.  There were also 14 cards that were put into the Mythic Edition set with 8 Foil Planeswalker cards and 6 tokens.

The important part in all this is that we only got 10 cards that we did not need with opening those 34 packs.

Now, for the interesting part, I am going to need to get 586 cards to finish out my playset, and that adds up to needing $989.23.

Mythic: $512.45
Rare: $403.72
Uncommon: $55.16
Common: $13.53

The pricing is all being taken on Feb 4th, 2019, and as we all know that after rotation the prices drop.  What we are trying to prove out here is that in buying the sealed product we need, and only opening the products we are looking for things we need out of those specific products, we will be able to save close to $500 each release.

Booster Boxes: $240.00 for 2 boxes
Bundles: $77.40 for 2 Bundles
Planeswalker Decks: $32.24 for one of each
ME Booster Boxes: $537.60 for 2 boxes

Thus far we have spent $887.23 on sealed product and have only cracked $307.50 worth of product in order to get our sets that has netted us $583.15 worth of cards we do not have to worry about.  Remember that we only cracked the ME Box for the special Planeswalker cards and that set alone is around $376.56 at this point in time.

So that means, right now we are in the green when it comes to costs.  The sealed product will be kept that way, so in the long run it will only increase in value.  I do understand that my cost basis for the sealed product is not very low at all, but being able to buy them at my LGS keeps that place in business, and I can continue to have a place I trust to play and buy things from.  And in the long game, that $30.00 I could have saved per box from an online retailer is just not worth it to me right now.  I do know that if I were to still buy in bulk, and try and pick up more sealed boxes, my LGS would cut me a better deal.  But now, I am only picking up 2 sealed Booster Boxes, and they need to make their margins.

I know, you are all saying if I just bought a Booster Box from an online retailer and cracked all those packs, I would be sitting pretty close to where I am at right now with the RNA set, and it would have only cost me $90.  But that is where you are wrong.  I would not have a complete set of the Mythic Edition card and tokens, and I would be looking to have to spend over $300 to acquire all those cards.  That would have put me closer to $400 for the same amount of product for the sets.  This way, I am sitting where I am at now, and I have sealed product left over for the collection.

If you look at the fact that I used to spend close to $1040 for 10 Booster Boxes, and 4 Bundles, and after cracking all the packs I would still need close to $400 worth of rares to finish the set.  I would also be left with close to 2500 cards I would need to get rid of.  It was a never ending cycle of buying new product, increasing cards to my bulk inventory, and still needing to spend more money for more cards to get to where I needed to be.

This way, I am only picking up sealed product that I need for the collection, and then having to go out and pick up the cards I need rather than being left with a bunch of stuff I don't need.  I have found the chase to find the cards is worth more than just buying an ass ton of crap and still having to chase after cards I need.  And hopefully I get to save some money.

So right now, as it sits I need $989.23 worth of cards in order to finish out my playset.  That is 586 more cards.  Let's just wait to see what that dollar amount is in 2 years, and in the meantime I will be saving up that amount so that I can just send my LGS a list of cards I am looking for so they can fill it out with as much as they have.

Also, with CardSphere I plan to pick up a bunch of stuff with the trading balance that I keep building up to with getting rid of that bulk stuff that I have sitting around.

The best number out of it all is that we only added 19 cards into the bulk pile.

May the Force Be With You Day!

The market is up!  And Reserve List cards are fucking crazy...

So I wake up today and check out the old Twitter.  After fuddling through changing my password because of some storage of my passwords in clear text issue Twitter had, I get to my most awesome MTGStock.com updated.

Now, I don't know if it is legal for me to post directly from their website, but I love their site and check prices everyday to look for spikes, and this is what I have been seeing for the past 3 weeks.  I really just wanted to show anyone that reads my blog that RL cards are going crazy.  The shitty crappy RL cards are even spiking hard.  And this list goes on and on.  Like everything that is on the RL is just spiking.

My Send list in CardSphere is full of people paying above 100% for the RL cards I have.  It is just crazy!  I am not sending anything out as of now, but I think if the prices get to crazy, then I will be sending out.

I don't know when this is going to stop, and I hope it does not stop anytime soon because I have my sets I am looking for, but anything that will help me out getting the sealed product I still need, I am all for it!

Next up, I got this little beauty in the mail from a CardSphere sender.  Thank you CS!  I got it for list prices, so I am not complaining.  I figure why try and low ball sealed product when the more rare it gets, the higher in price it will go.  So for now, since I am sending cards I do not need, and getting sealed product I do, I am all for these types of trades.  Again, I think it was someone who found a good price somewhere and had it shipped to their house, and then they sent it off to me.  But again, this is what I am using the site for as my brokerage house.

What we have here is my Buylist I am sending to ABUGames.com.  Seems as though they are looking for a ton of foreign cards and are paying really good prices for them.  I am also sending a bunch of bulk 4th Edition, but that was pulled earlier today, and I forgot to take a picture of it.  I am hoping to turn this into a box of Future Sight!

So as soon as I finish up with work, I am off to the post office to send some cards!  Hoping to keep doing the Buylisting too for sealed product.  It will be really good to have Phase 4 all done.  I know I am not close, but it feels really good to keep moving in the right direction.

Buy Listing and CardSphere

Beta Card Count: 20!!!

So this week on the MTG trading blog I got in some pretty good pickups.  CardSphere keeps bringing in the gold as more and more people join the site.  My plan to keep sending out as much as I can to keep my balance up is paying off, and I am actually getting in cards that I need.

Let's take a look.

First one to show, Beta Rod of Ruin.  This trader was someone who decided to send and ship very fast, so fast I could not get pictures of the card before the send.  Not that big of a deal considering it is only a Rod of Ruin, but consider always sending pictures when you send an ABU card.  Just so the person on the other end can approve of the condition.  I was happy when I opened it, so not complaining.

This one I was worried about.  The condition showed very very nice in the picture I was scared it was a fake.  When it got here, it proved out to be real and a great addition to the collection!

I am really enjoying my time on CardSphere, being able to build up that balance of mine for cards like this.  They are not Mint cards, but they are cards I am satisfied with.  I do want the best possible condition of the cards, but I am also a player and want a collection I can play with not just look at.  And the more and more people joining the site just means more of an audience I can trade with.

Come on an join me: https://www.cardsphere.com/ref/711/e4031f

Next up, my toe dip into Buy Listing has been fruitful in my eyes.  I have only been using Card Kingdom and I am really only sending Commons and Uncommons, but I am building up a nice balance there as well.  I was able to get up to around $600 worth and put in my first order.

This box finishes my Onslaught Block.  I am just thankful that I can trade in my bulk for stuff like this.  Knowing this, I can still hold off on more sought after cards and send those through CardSphere getting closer to 80% of their value, while I am only getting around 50% through Buy Listing to trade-in value.

I know, most of you are thinking "Why would I get those boxes?"  These are boxes with very low value, and are not even Modern Legal, but if you have been reading my blog for a while, you know I have a taste for the older sets, and I find more value in those sets.  Considering that these booster boxes are more rare, I thought it would be best for me to pick these up first.  I will be able to snag up the Modern boxes a lot easier, but really feel these older boxes are worth the priority.  They won't go up in value for the cards in the set, but they will go up based off of scarcity and that is good enough reason to pick them up first.

So yeah, this weekend I am packing up about 13 new sends for CardSphere, then I will take a peek to see if there is anything I can send to Card Kingdom.  I also requested that some of the Booster boxes get pricing on CardSphere, there was a trader that let me know they had a box of Stronghold they were willing to send me!  So I hope that gets updated soon so I can finish that block!

Have a good week!

After the Recount

This week on the Greatest Blog for Magic the Gathering!

Total Count: 1

So things are not going as fast as they were before.  This whole baby thing is really cutting into my time of just sitting at my desk and counting cardboard.  Just to recap, I was able to do a re-count on the collection and find some cards that I was missing.  Those cards were ordered from Card Kingdom and they have arrived.  Let's take a look at what I got in, and the one card I am still missing.

I seriously don't know how these cards were counted wrong in the first place.

Basic Swamp and 2 of a single card.  I really need to go through all my Deckbox trades to see how this one got messed up.

I am 95% sure that I got this card in a previous trade, and I just lost it.  Again, need to get that Deckbox list all done so I can prove it.

I can see mis-counting on the Portal Second Age cards, just cause they were very low on the priority list for the collection in general.

I really think there was something off on these though.  I swore I was pretty accurate on what I needed for these cards.

Seriously, Mogg!?

I can totally see missing this one.  Common card from Time Spiral.  I think Time Spiral was one of the first Modern sets I finished too.

This one was bit of a shocker to tell you the truth.  I thought I was pretty good at keeping track of my rares that I needed.

And I just added these to just be done with them.  I really hope they stop making Planeswalker decks and just let the LGS's come out with beginner deck product with bulk they have in store.

More Planeswalker trash...

So yeah, I only need 1 Ravnica Basic Land Swamp for the collection to be done with.  I might actually never get it, just because.  That is a lie, and I will get it, but seriously?  I need to go through an ass ton of basic lands to find a single card to complete the collection?  Ugh!  I know I am never going to get it in a trade, and stores never post that kind of stuff.  I will keep looking for it, but I am really hoping I can find it at my LGS the next time I go up there.

So yeah, only need to finish out my Standard cards after rotation, and then try and pick up the ABU cards I am missing.  It is about 50 Unlimited cards, and 24 Beta cards for those complete sets.  I need 250 Alpha cards, and I am pretty sure that will not happen anytime soon.

So the End is here

Card Count: 0

And so there were none.  That is right!

I started on July 15th, 2013 with a beginning target of 25,576 cards needed to finish up my playsets of every Core set, Expansion set, and special release set.  All the while, I would still attempt to finish up with all the standard sets along the way, and keep up with all new releases.

So I started around 1994 with Fallen Empires and Revised Edition.  I kept playing up until around 1998 right after Exodus.  I remember thinking to myself, "How the hell am I going to keep up with all these new sets that are coming out?"  At the time, I was working everyday of the week at 3 different jobs.  I would work at one restaurant Monday - Friday morning, then I would work another cooking job on Saturdays at another place, and a comic book store on Sundays.  I was also going to school full time at night.

I would use my discount at the comic book store to pick up booster boxes pretty close to cost, and then try and find time to play at night hanging out at the local 24 hour dinner.  As time went on, I just had to grow up and try and make a name for myself.  I was pretty lucky, and I only sold my cards to my father so my collection did not go far.  He kept playing until around 1999 but he never got rid of the collection.  He actually kept buying some cards, and some collections.

Every so often I would get together with my cousins and play a game or two, so I decided to bring the collection to live with me with my father's permission.  It was around 2003 and we would only play with the cards I had.  Basically from Urza's Destiny and back.

Alpha, Beta, Unlimited, Revised, 4th Edition, 5th Edition
Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends, The Dark, Fallen Empires, Homelands
Ice Age, Alliances
Mirage, Vision, Weatherlight
Tempest, Stronghold, Exodus
Urza's Saga, Legacy, Destiny
Chronicles, Portal, Portal Second Age, Unglued

Now I did not have playsets, and it was definitely more of a player's collection.  What I mean about that is, I had multiple playsets of dual lands and other deck building cards, but not every card in each set.  You could say that I had the more expensive cards because those were the cards that everyone used to build decks.  I think I counted 7 playsets of dual lands.

Race up to 2011 where I started to play again.  My boss and I would travel the country installing phone systems, and one night he brought up playing D&D.  I brought up Magic the Gathering and that started me getting back into the game.

It had been so long, that I actually went into my old comic book store looking for a Scry price guide.  When I asked the front desk, they just kind of looked at me and said, "Have you heard of the internet?"

So by the time I started up again, I was buying Magic 2012, Zendikar, Worldwake, Rise of the Eldrazi, Scars of Mirrodin, and Mirrodin Besieged.

And by the time I started to write the blog I was picking up my Magic 2014.  This was putting New Phyrexia, Innistrad, Dark Ascension, Avacyn Restored, Return to Ravnica, Gatecrash, Dragon Maze, Magic 2012, and Magic 2014 under my belt.

I was pretty much missing most of Modern, a large chunk of the later Legacy cards, and there were still some Vintage cards I needed to fill out my single sets of the older releases.  They had also released a ton of smaller sets since I was away, so I needed to pick up those as well.

25,576 cards later, with the addition of the running Standard sets, I am now done with Phase 1.

Single Sets
Arabian Nights - Legends

Playsets
The Dark - Eldritch Moon
Revised - Magic Origins

I was also able to complete Phase 2, which is all the special sets they released.

Single Sets
Starter 1999
Starter 2000
Unhinged
Conspiracy
Conspiracy: Take the Crown
Modern Masters 2013 - Modern Masters 2017
Eternal Masters 2016

Playsets
Portal
Portal Second Age
Chronicles
Unglued

So with the addition of these cards, I can say goodbye to Phase 1 and Phase 2!

Here we go!

Phase 2 - Final cards for Portal Second Age!

Phase 1 - 7th Edition
Phase 2 - Starter 1999

Phase 2 - Starter 1999!

So yeah, we are off to the races on Phase 3 (sealed booster boxes) and Phase 4 (ABU full set).

In the next coming days, I will go over what I plan to do with the spreadsheet and the recount.

Inching closer...

Total Card Count: 8

Seven!  Seven!

I really just want to keep these short until I get everything in and really talk about what is going on.

Here we go!

Huge waste of a buy here.  I am going to go over Starter 2000 in the next blog, but yeah the only reason I bought from this seller was to get that Counterspell.  And that Counterspell is not even Starter 2000.  So I picked up the Staff and the Foil Swans for no reason.

Ugh....  Another Starer 2000 card that is not Starter 2000, but hey I got that Standard Canyon...

Sexy!!!!!!  So sexy Starter 1999 card!!!!!!!!!  SOOOOOOOOO Sexy!!!!!!!!

Ok yeah, so just wanted to add this incoming buy, and the larger story will be written when I get everything.  More to come!

Getting close to the end

Total Card Count: 10

The Greatest Magic the Gathering blog in the world!!!!!

So I officially got sick of trying to trade for the cards I am looking for, and decided to just buy everything I was looking for, and this is the first post on how I am getting what I need.

We are talking about Phase 1 and Phase 2 now.  I am still looking for 10 Battle for Zendikar non-full art basic lands, but that is going to take me a while to find and I don't want to spend $3.00 for them right now, but I am pretty sure I will at some point.

I went to TCGPlayer this run to finish out everything like I normally do.  It is just a lot easier to find the cards on this single site.  I did have to go shopping in specific sellers just to fill in the $2.00 minimum, which really bugs me.  If they are charging for shipping then why would they require for me to buy more than $2.00 worth of cards?  I know that they are spending the time to pull the card, pack the card, and then ship but come on.  Ok, so yeah, that does make sense considering I don't even look at anything under $2.00 on CardSphere when I am sending cards.

Anywho....

Here we go!

Channel Fireball
They sent a great package with everything I was looking for in the conditions that was posted.  Unfortunately I did not need the Sylvan Basilisk as my documentation was inaccurate.  That Rhox is a pretty awesome pickup, but I already have the 2 sealed learning decks coming in the mail.

Brute Force Games
And this is the last card I needed for 9th Edition!  What a long road...

Geeks and Games
Picked up the Spined Wurm from Starter 2000 for reasons, but I needed to grab those Ixalan cards to get above the $2.00 mark.  So yeah, over paid on the Ixalan cards to get s single Starter 2000 card...  Sigh...  I did grab a couple other Starter 2000 cards, but with my recent discovery I had those cards in my inventory.   There is a lot riding on the sealed decks coming in, I am getter very anxious.

CCG House
Exhaustion is the same deal as my other Portal Second Age cards, a miss in the inventory caused me to pick up some more that were not needed.  I did need that Hand of Death from Starter 2000 and the Righteous Fury from Starter 1999, so just happy I did not need to order more just to get the deal done.

Gators
Waste of a shop.  Complete waste of a shop.  They sent me a Starter 1999 Stone Rain instead of the Starter 2000 one I was looking for.  So really, I paid for the Ixalan card and the Commander card for nothing.  Then the guy picked a fight with me on the bad score I gave them.  Waste of time.

Competitive Card Shack
Another huge waste of poo.  Sent me the wrong Goblin Hero since I was looking for the Starter 2000 one, not the Starter 1999.  Bad score for them!  Luckily they just refunded me the pennies for the card and I over paid for some more Ixalan cards just to get the order pushed through...

TCG Player Direct
Great service on this on as always, just wish TGC Player Direct was the only way to get cards instead of always going through other sellers.  With this order I was able to finish out 6th Edition, 8th Edition, Portal!  Oh yeah, and since there are literally no Lord of the Undead out there, I ended up paying double for that stupid card...

So yeah I need 11 more cards to finish up Phase 1 and Phase 2, and all 10 cards should be headed my way to finish it out.  With this shipment I finished 6th, 8th, 9th, and Portal.  Here is what is left from the other sets

7th Edition: 1 card
Portal Second Age: 2 cards
Starter 1999: 6 cards
Starter 2000: 1 card

Really hoping I can close out these last sets before the weekend!

Break time

I am going to be taking a break from updating my blog until I start doing more with Magic the Gathering.  I am not going to sell the collect...
